I enjoy reading most genres and writing in most genres as well. For me narratives are the machine for literary invention and the exploration of the human heart. I love to take a cliche setting or cliche characters and see if I can make them surprising them again. Because of this my reading is eclectic and wide. I like to read Dostoevsky and Robin McKinley, Kim Stanley Robinson and Salman Rushdie, George RR Martin and Zadie Smith. I love imaginative and creative writing no matter where I find it.
