About DEMEmrys's Reading & Writing

I had very little love for reading (let alone writing) until the age of 11/12. It wasn't that I could not read at all, it was due to the fact I could not read because I would not read. I felt no love for books. ...that is until I picked up 'Legend' by David Gemmell. So started my journey into fantasy. I went from reading 'Roger Red Hat', to devouring fantasy-epics in a matter of weeks. I'm particularly drawn to heroic-fantasy and sword & sorcery tales, but I enjoy all genres. In terms of writing, I focus heavily on character drive and motivation, and seek to create characters that the reader car interface with.
