My preferred genres change as I am introduced to new books. Up until about a year ago, I never read sci-fi, and now I've written a sci-fi novel and am absolutely in love with its possibilities. When I review, I write them as though I picked up the novel in a bookstore and they are my initial thoughts and are in no way a professional opinion.
