Given a choice between adult fantasy and anything else, fantasy wins every time. I love novels that stay true to the heart of the genre, but reach outside the box and insist of being their own world, by authors who draw upon their own unique inspirations.
That said, I read well outside my comfort zone, fiction and non, with a particular soft spot for Women's and humor.
I write adult fantasy, and strive to create the same types of books I love to read.
