I will read just about anything that is well written and draws me in. My favorite authors are Stephen King and Michael Crighton, but I also enjoy books by Dan Brown, Piers Anthony, Robin Cook and many, many others. Although I love fantasy, science fiction and many other genres, I have a special love for the horror genre, the kind that makes you think that the jacket slung carelessly on the back of a chair is really a shapeless monster, and about to rise up and any time and attack.
I write horror fiction because I understand fear. After spending my childhood terrified of the dark, I learned to channel those experiences where my imagination really let loose and came up with thousands of terrifying scenarios, whether I was walking through the woods at night, or alone on a city street, or safe in bed with the lamp on. I write fiction because I don't have a choice and it is my hope that when you read my books and stories, that you want to sleep with the lights on afterward. All of them.
