I started writing when I was nine years old. When I was in fourth grade my first poem was published, and that feeling inspired me to become a writer. I've always loved the idea of creating a brand new world out of nothing, characters out of nothing, and still having the ability to fall in love with those creations.
I've always thought that if one person's life was enhanced in any way by my writing, even if it was just a smile or a passing thought as they continued their day, then I'd have succeeded as a writer. I know that many authors in my library have helped me, and my goal is to have the chance to return what all my books have given me.
