I tend to lean towards 18th and 19th century British and Russian literature, though lately creative nonfiction has been my "drug of choice", if you will. That being said, I most admire the style of Aimee Bender and have found myself also writing abstract short fiction. It's fun and allows me to creatively whine about my life and issues. I'm finally writing a werewolf (ish) novel which has been on my mind for quite some time.
