I'm partially dyslexic, so my grammar and spelling are terrible, but luckily for me, we live in the age of spellcheck and online dictionaries.
I have always been a lover of fantasy. I started with fairy tales as a child and then moved into fantasy and sci-fi movies as I got older. I read my first fantasy novel in 5th grade and from then on, it was my genre of choice.
I started writing in 2010. I had a weird dream and my husband suggested I write it down. It was October and some of his friends were doing NaNoWriMo, so I decided to join in. I finished the first draft of what turned into book one of my series in January of 2011. I am currently on the last bit of editing that I can possibly do without an actual editor and beta readers on my first book, Mark of the Essence. I am also about halfway through my second book, Mark of the Flame. I have to say I have never had this much fun working before. I hated writing as a kid, but now I don't know if I could live without it.
