Romantic suspense and urban fantasy books fill my shelves, with some fine science fiction besides. I'm thoroughly male and have been married to my childhood sweetheart, Carol, for forty years (we have two adult daughters and two adult sons), and have always worked in occupations where women predominate. So, I write from a woman's point of view (don't attempt this alone) for general audiences of all genders: international romantic suspense for adults of a certain age with refined tastes, paranormal romance/urban fantasy for the twenty-somethings, and young adult romantic novels about the fictional but scientifically possible.
Carol and I have lived and worked in California, Washington, Oregon, Illinois, Texas, Hawaii, and New Mexico. For work and pleasure I have spent time in the Canadian maritimes, the island nation of Mauritius, on Java and Sumatra, in Singapore, in Mexico, and in the beautiful city of Barcelona. I'm currently working on learning my fourteenth language, Old Norse.
