Only a few thousand words away from the first draft of my historical romance novel, "Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea." I've always had a love affair with the English regency but am interested more in the daily lives of "regular" people as opposed to "the ton." My writing (and reading) interest is plucked by authentic settings, intriguing characters and plots that veer down a tangle of alleys but end in a satisfying conclusion. I do like a little spit and vinegar in my heroine and a hero on the brooding side :)
