My primary writing and reading focus right now is Buddhist philosophy and I have written several books on the topic. I am also interested in science fiction, private security training manuals and police and diplomatic security and Intel and I have written books on those topics as well.
My reading interests are similar to my writing interests but I also enjoy reading the classics.
I spent many years roaming the jungles of Africa, South America and Southeast Asia in search of adventure and exotic creatures and sketching and writing about what I found. I currently reside among the tall fir trees in the rain forests of the Pacific Northwest where I continue to write, meditate and ponder the meaning of life while practicing compassion for all beings and encouraging others to do the same.
