My reading is largely a result of my time living in Europe and the passion for history and culture that this engendered. I read primarily non-fiction, with a particular interest in Anglo-Saxon England and the early medieval era, with a jump to the revolutionary war era in the USA and the Victorian Era in England and the continent.
My writing is primarily observational, based on what I see around me in the body politic and the culture. I enjoy looking at things from a comic or ironic perspective.
