I'm an experimental writer. That is, I try to write a bit of everything. I've written eight manuscripts––all of them YA, but in varying subgenres. Some of them have gone through revisions, while others will probably never see the light of day again. I'm also currently juggling several writing projects.
I was a semifinalist in the 2010 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award contest, and a quarterfinalist in the same contest in 2011.
As for what I read, I'm a literary omnivore. I'll read a book of any genre, as long as it has a gripping plot and believable characters.
