I started out as an author by reading, everything from Oz books to LOTR, so that when my first story idea struck in the middle of the night, I was ready to do something about it. I took no classes, I just wrote what seemed right, in the way that I wanted to read it, no descriptive prose, no cliches, nothing that I'd seen done before. This makes my stories hard to categorize. I was lucky to find a publisher who wasn't so concerned with categories, or even being able to describe what I write. So far I have three novels published, and a bunch of short stories. You've probably never heard of any of them.
