A professional marketing/advertising writer by trade, my current focus is on creating a new fiction genre I call "Boomer lifestyles." The genre explores the challenges facing an aging, active and life-savvy population as it strives to navigate contemporary social, cultural and economic issues, including financial security, unemployment, age discrimination and declining health matters. My goal is to create characters who successfully confront these experiences in an entertaining way as they simultaneously demonstrate their abilities to solve intriguing real world problems. My personal reading preferences span a broad range of non-fiction travel, adventure and contemporary political literature, as well as espionage, and procedural and legal mystery authors. My ambition is to entertain; provide an escapist reading experience that invites the reader to identify with my characters as they project themselves into the resolution of interesting problems.
