Richard ejoys reading thrillers. His favourite author is John Le Carre. Harlan Coben comes a close second. He has been writing a thriller based on a real-life Japanese religous cult who released nerve gas in the Tokyo subway system in 1995. He thinks 'A Perfect Spy' was the perfect spy novel, mainly becasue of the complex main character. His favourite Harlen Coben novel was "Tell No One, " because of the complexity ofthe plot and the ending.
