I generally read fantasy and science fiction novels because they always catch my interest. Very rarely, will a novel outside of those genres be interesting to me. My contemporary role models in writing are Anne Rice, David Farland, Anne McCaffrey, and J.K. Rowling. They influenced the way I relate myself back to my characters and how my characters relate to each other. My favorite writers to this day are Edgar Allan Poe and Jane Austen. Poe for his imaginative yet disturbing world he fearlessly gave us a glimpse into, and Austen for her personable and insightful view into the world around her and the role it played in her plots. I immensely enjoy every second of work put into this, and I hope you, the reader, will as well.
