I am new to writing, but trying to learn everything I can possibly about the craft. My current portfolio includes 2 stories under contract. The first in the Warriors of the Elector trilogy (Starline) and a loosely connected short story (The Star of Ishtar). Both are due in 2012. I am also ready to edit the second in the trilogy and have a current WIP (a Vampire Romance - yes I know everyone does at least one of them). I have the concept for a couple of others - one which came from a conference activity, which is literally begging to be written. I am a member of the RWA and a finalist in the 2011 Show Me The Spark competition under the Fantasy category. Give a a starship captain, vampire and romance and I'm happy. Toss in the odd mix up and family issues and you are well on the way.
