I am a voracious reader and a capricious writer, never quite getting enough of either one. My love for reading started at a very young age in Madrid, Spain, where I grew up as a child. I come from a family of bookworms and the tradition still stands strong, as I've passed that down to my daughter, who held her first fabric book when she was only six months old. Fifteen years later, she reads and writes, just like her mom.
I've always had a fascination for writing and admired those who had the gift, the passion, and determination to do something with it. I simply love the art form. I often try to imagine what our world would be like without writers, and that's when I cease to exist.
I find that when I am working on a manuscript, I like to divide my time between reading and writing. I do quite a bit of research for my books or scripts, and so I read extensively for work related subjects, but I also have those special times when I read other kinds of books.
