I read widely in almost all genres - the only criteria that it must be well written and have a strong narrative pull. My writing life has been almost as wide - working in broadcasting, journalism, as a performance poet and professional author. I've published several biographies, two poetry collections, and a number of short stories (under other names). I'm just completing my second novel and find that I'm much less confident with the novel structure than I am with non-fiction. What I need is feed-back, but not from friends and family who are never as objective and incisive as you need them to be.
So that's what I'm hoping to be able to give and to get from this site.
