I write dark, violent, character driven crime novels. I am inspired by the plotting and dialogue of Ross MacDonald and Elmore Leonard, the hard prose of Raymond Chandler, the casual depravity of James Ellroy, the lyricism of William Faulkner and Cormac McCarthy.
