I need to have at least two books on the go at any one time. My favourite author is currently Patricia Highsmith, closely seconded by JG Ballard. The most disturbing book I have ever read is The Collector by John Fowles. I am currently working on a series of short stories set in 2060, the first of which, MEAT SHEETS, I have just published on Kindle. In September, I completed the first draft of a novel set in contemporary London. If you read it, expect to have nightmares.
