I currently enjoy reading espionage thrillers along with a mix of science fiction and mystery. My writings have generally leaned more towards the sci fi side with the more recent additions involving the thriller genre. It's always strange when the writing bug really decides to hit you with ideas. I have found that cutting the lawn for an hour and a half really allows me to mold some of those ideas into a good start. I have pieced together several chapters in my mind while cutting before even putting pen to paper. I am sure I look quite interesting to my neighbors as I smile away cutting the lawn. If they only knew they were the inspiration for some of my more disturbing characters. ;)
