I'm primarily a fan of sci-fi/fantasy and steampunk, everything from Star Wars and D&D stories to original work like Jessica Rydill's Children of the Shaman, Tobias Buckell's Crystal Rain and Cherie Priest's Clockwork Century novels.
I'll pretty much give anything a shot, but strong characters always beat clever plots, and I'm always desperately in search of work that draws on non-Eurocentric cultures and mythologies.
