Since the age of seven Nivair has been writing fantastical stories, poems, plays, screenplays, and any other works of imagination she can conjure. She has contributed to io9.com, Pittsburgh Magazine, Fantasy Magazine, MIT's The Tech, and the Hugo Award-winning Weird Tales. She graduated from the Odyssey Writing Workshop in 2010 and completed her first National Novel Writing Month in 2002. She devours all the fantasy and science fiction she can find, as well as venturing into mystery, horror, and everything interstitial.
