The Order of Ethyrea is a series of Action / Adventure / Fantasy books from author Danica Fontaine. The series is based on the journey of the “Brethren”, who are a group of powerful elemental warriors from the Realm of Ethyrea. Ethyrea is comprised of four Kingdoms, each of which is identified by their control over a particular element. Terratus, home to the Emperor of Ethyrea is the Kingdom of Earth; Myr, the Water Kingdom; Fyr, the fire realm, and Vyren, a powerful kingdom in the sky, is home to the Brethren who can wield the elements of Wind and Lightning. The Vyren Brethren are unique amongst all of the Brethren, as they have wings when they need them. There are also two types of Vyren Brethren: Lyr, who wield the lightning, and Ayr, who wield the Air. The Order of Ethyrea: Code of the Brethren is book one. The Order of Ethyrea: Tribe of the Lost is in pre-publication reviews. And the third book, The Order of Ethyrea: The Darkness Within is in the process of being written.
