My reading tends to lean toward the offbeat, quirky, and bizarre, whether it be in genre or general fiction. I enjoy reading the most when the author takes chances and does something different, from a unique voice or character to the creation of a new world. These same things apply to my writing. You won't find many conventions with me. That said, above all, I live for an engrossing story, both as a reader and a storyteller. I like speculative stuff, because between serious and side-splitting, it's all the same nonsense to me.
