I've read a lot of genres, but I find myself coming back to science fiction and fantasy more often than not. I like happy endings and character growth, but I understand that some happiness comes at a large price. My writing aims to be grounded in enough reality that the reader's disbelief suspends easily; I want my characters to be identifiable, the kind you can connect with. I love subtlety and am resigned to no one getting my sense of humor.
