The idea for Lisa's first fiction novel, Parallel Dimensions which is self-published, is fictionally based on on her experience with paranormal events over the years. In 2005, New Dominion Pictures picked up a true-to-life ghost story Lisa had written for a web site. This story Ghost Soldier, aired in 2007 on the Discovery Channel's series A Haunting and continues to run. Lisa is a Ghostbuster of sorts. Every mother's day, Lisa and her daughter Sarah stay in haunted hotels, for which she will co-write a new novel with her daughter. Besides working as a Contruction PM, writing and ghostbusting, Lisa has an avid love for food. She even had one of her recepies published in a Texas centennial cookbook.
