Most of what I write (and read) is suspense, often with a supernatural element. My novels include Missing White Girl, River Runs Red, and Cold Black Hearts (supernatural thrillers published by Penguin/Jove), The Slab (horror epic published by IDW Publishing), and the Dark Vengeance quartet (teen horror published by Simon & Schuster). I've also written straight crime, with no supernatural element, including several licensed novels set in the universe of CSI and CSI: Miami, and nonfiction tie-ins to Criminal Minds, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Angel. My most recent short story publication as of this writing is in the anthology San Diego Noir, next novel release is CSI: The Burning Season.
