I love to both read and write YA, but I'll read almost anything that falls into my hands. My favorites genres are fantasy, light sci-fi, and Dystopian. I especially love when they contain a healthy smattering of romance.
My current project, Whisper Pale, is a YA Dystopian/sci-fi about a sixteen year old girl caught pretending to be a boy while trying to escape a dangerous series of genetic tests meant to determine her rank in society.
I'm very passionate about this manuscript, and I'm currently debating with myself on whether to begin querying agents when it's finished or self-publish. I'm leaning toward self-publishing at the moment, but I haven't completely made up my mind. Any thoughts or advice would be very much appreciated!
