Karita is a writer of screenplays, short stories and novels. Several of her short screenplays have been produced. Her most recent film "Just Desserts" is currently showing at the Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival in Paris.
With a Master's Degree in Professional Writing from the University of Southern California, Karita now resides in Washington, DC with her partner and collaborator. She is currently working on a new novel.
When not writing, reading or tuning into BBC America for the latest episode of Torchwood, Karita enjoys nature walks, yoga and scoping out coffeehouses to inhabit.
