J.R.McRae has been published since at high school in anthologies, journals, magazines, newspapers, has won awards and now illustrates some of her own material. Publications carrying her poetry include Antipodes [NY], Gandalf’s Garden [UK], Quadrant, Divan, Ripples [for which she has now done three Poster Poem covers], Small Packages, Speed Poets, Static Poetry I, Recent Queensland Poetry, Square Poets, Wired Ruby, Naked Pomegranate, Verso, Micropress Yates/The Mozzie, NZ Micropress, Patchwork of Poetry, the Courier Mail, Seriously Fishy, Gathering Force and more. J.R. has had short stories published in Wired Ruby, Rose & Thorn, 100 Stories for Queensland and Basics of Life [The Australian Literature Review Anthology].
As J.R.Poulter she has published 11 books for education and children, including Crichton Award winner, “Mending Lucille”. First book in the UK being released in September 2011!
