I started writing in 3rd grade. Over the years I have gone through spurts of writing and reading. It wasn't until High School that I felt that I wanted to turn my writing into a profession.
With that goal in mind I broadened my horizons, stepping away from the massive amounts of Scifi/Fantasy I had been accustomed too.
In college I have developed my writing further while pursuing a BA in Creative Writing. I have focused on Fiction, but do not find myself confined to the limits of one genre or one style or one length. I find that my writing takes the form it needs and that I am merely the vessel it chooses to express itself through. In that regard I have been very strongly influenced by Post-Modernism and Deconstructionism. Also I have found myself delving into the spiritual of late.
