Steph both reads and writes contemporary fantasy, where she has a fondness for women who aren't kickass, since she don't see many ass kicking women in leather trousers around in general. Possibly she uses the wrong supermarket.
She will read just about anything else too, with the exception of the technical journals she knows she should read but which put her to sleep every time. Since catching the writing bug, her house could politely be described as ‘Dog Hair Central’. Cleaning has no purpose in life if you live with a bunch of men whose mission is to make more mess immediately.
She has several published short stories on the web in her own name, which can't come with her as she writes her first novel because another writer uses it already. Since she has used the name Rosa since she first joined the internet thinking it was populated by axe murderers looking for their next victim, she uses the pen name Rosie Lane instead.
