My novel Fish and Game is an adaptation from a screenplay that got out from under me. A country noir, the style is highly visual and as much in the present tense as humanly possible. A little eccentric to be sure, I've written in this hybrid style to conserve narrative and yet throw in a few curves as seemed fitting at the time.
