I have been a reader first, and a writer later. I am a huge fan of O'Henry, and try to follow his style into my writing too. In novels, i follow contemporary fiction more than the classics, though i have had a fair dose of the latter. My favorite classics have been Jules Verne's Around the world in 80 days and 20, 000 leagues under the sea, though i also loved H.G Wells' works.
As for my own writing, i am chiefly a short story writer. I have written close to 15 short stories and ten of those are incorporated n my first novel, Different shades of Shyam, for which i am searching a publisher.
