Colette writes space opera, fantasy, and the occasional horror short story. Most of her writing fits into the Young Adult reading market; her current works in progress featuring a sixteen-year-old wanna be soldier facing alien attacks on her adopted father's merchant space vessel, and a fifteen-year-old boy struggling with the inherited ability to bring dangerous creatures of shadow to life. Her short story about a woman infected and transformed by an unusual ground beetle was recently published in SNM Horror e-zine and will be featured in the upcoming anthology Women Writing the Weird.
