Fantasy writing is my passion but my reading choices are very eclectic. On any given day I might be knee deep in Janet Evanovich, Antonia Fraser, Patrick O'Brian, Mark Twain, Jane Austen or Jimmy Buffet. Fiction or non-fiction makes no difference to me when it comes to reading entertainment. I have never been published because I've never submitted anything. According to my partner and my friends it's because I'm a slacker, not because I'm afraid of rejection. I think they are right in that respect, I'm a classic slacker. Fortunately, I have some folks in my life who are attempting to light a fire under my butt and get my work out there. Soon it might burst into flame but slackers are good about putting out fires.
