Fantasy stories are my favorite, but I also enjoy a touch of romance, especially paranormal romance, and mystery. Adventures and suspense are wonderful, also. A story that has all those elements is one that keeps me reading all night!
So far, I've written one mystery novella, two fantasy novels, and one paranormal romance, all for middle grade and young adult levels. I've also written a few short stories, and hope to write more as my brain is overflowing with ideas.
Some of my favorite books growing up were "The Black Stallion" series and "Nancy Drew" books. Now, I enjoy "Narnia" series, "Eragon" series, "LOR" sereies, "Harry Potter" series, "Twilight" series, and Christian mystery/romance. My daughters have also gotten me hooked on a few mangas! ;)
