I am a lifelong reader and sometimes an author. I read science fiction, historical fiction, courtroom drama, biography, history, 18th and 19th Century English classics, mysteries, YA, and once in a while a bit of fantasy. I write science fiction and picture books -- so far. I don't read self-help books, except about writing and publishing.
