It's cliche to say I read a bit of everything, yet no less true. I read fantasy and science fiction primarily but enjoy regular forays into historical novels, biographies and non-fiction. I try to balance my fiction reading between what's been newly released and genre books that are considered classics that help define or expand the genre.
I love both paper books and electronic books equally -- and it feels like I'm constantly cheating on one with the other.
My writing is mainly focused on fantasy, often tinged with either horror or humor. I have had one short story sale. I have other short pieces that I am working on while I revise my third novel. (The first is buried and I will never tell you where. The second and I are not on speaking terms.)
