I write serio-comic historical fantasy and Steampunk. Included in the former are the first two novels in the Legacy Stone series, BRIMSTONE AND LILY (Bronze Medal winner, 2010 Independent Publishers Book Awards) and JASPER'S FOUL TONGUE. Book 3, JASPER'S MAGICK CORSET, will be published in the fall of 2012. The books are parodies of YA 'quest lit'. They are also tributes to HUCK FINN and a host of other classicworks (eg, on page 42 there is always a Douglas Adams reference).
My Steampunk novel, PARAGON OF THE ECCENTRIC, a Victorian 007 homage and WAR OF THE WORLDS prequel, is undergoing final revision.
My story "Lonely Crutch", where Marley's ghost visits Tiny Tim before the events of Dickens' tale, appears in the anthology BROKEN LINKS, MENDED LIVES (Colorado Book Award finalist).
