Wine was my writing catalyst. I collected a substantial wine book library and thus was born my first book, "Wine into Words: A History and Bibliography of Wine Books in the English Language."
In 1987 I wrote "How To Be A Wine Expert, " a beginner's guide.
Curious about all things vinous, I decided to find out what our Founding Fathers drank and learned that Thomas Jefferson was the wine connoisseur of his age. In 1995, I finished "Passions: The Wines and Travels of Thomas Jefferson." It met with immediate success, winning the Veuve Clicquot Wine Book of the Year award.
"Passions" was followed by the 2nd edition of "Wine into Words."
In 2006 I wrote "An Evening with Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson, Dinner, Wine and Conversation."
In 2011, I finished "God's Devil, " a thriller about a priest who aspires to be the first American Pope. He is brilliant and charismatic but he is also a murderer, fornacator, abortionist, blackmailer ...
Will he destroy the Catholic Church?
