Doran has been writing space operas since high school. Entralled with the future, he enjoys dabbling in how humanity will be impacted by, and in-turn influance, technology and the universe around them.
Most times he feels he's watching a movie in his mind, or documenting the history of his characters lives, rather than being the god of his own universe. In addition to being very theraputic and sacred, he writes to share an exciting place where others can find temporary refuge and enjoy an experience beyond themsemselves.
Inspired by such series as Babylon 5, Firefly, X-men, and a host of Japanese Anime standards, his latest series has been in development for the past decade. Now into book four, he finds the mature characters and their exploits entertaining to "visit" and write about.
