I read all kinds of things. In fiction I lean toward SF, fantasy and thrillers. I like exotic settings and rich description. I'm a technologist; I like to learn how things work.
So, naturally, I include those elements in the books I write. "The Wrong God" is a contemporary fantasy about scientists who discover magic - today - and become involved in the politics of religion.
