Mr Gregory is an avid reader of the New York Times online, and has eclectic tastes in ebooks, both mystery fiction and non-fiction. Though he worked briefly as a freelance business writer, he has never written fiction for publication. His first novel is in its second draft, and he describes it as "presently a mess".
