I'll read just about anything, and my writing is almost equally eclectic. Recently I have been doing short stories that are more or less literary fiction for my MFA. Most of the projects I do on my own time are both longer pieces and firmly genre fiction. It's a process of exploring, of trying out new settings and characters and perspectives.
