I read pretty much everything I can get my hands on. I am working towards a graduate degree in literature, and right now I am focusing on the late Romantics, so I read a lot of Shelley and Byron. When I'm not knee deep in Romantic literature, I usually read science fiction, fantasy, horror, and books about Jewish theology and practice. I live in New Orleans, so I also enjoy reading books by and about the locals. New Orleans history fascinates me, and it's started to bleed into my own writing.
