I love reading. I read a ton of comic books, from superhero comics to Hellboy to Scott Pilgrim. I love the medium. I read a lot of YA urban/contemporary fantasy. I'm also trying to catch up on all the classics I never got around to reading, like The Count of Monte Cristo, which I'm currently reading. (It's excellent!)
I've written one novel and started on another. Both are urban/contemporary fantasy, though the first is YA and the new one is MG. In short stories and flash fiction, I jump around, going from straight up fiction to scifi to horror. I like pushing my boundaries and seeing if I can write in different styles and genres. And I sometimes write and illustrate comics.
